We had a great experience at this condo resort. This particular apartment is like new. The view, especially at night, was fantastic. The owner provides guests with tour documents that tell about what is withing walking distance and what is worth while to do in the neighborhood. The welcome bottle of wine was a touch of class. We have stayed in this building before but through a hotel which occupies some of the rooms. The building itself is fine, the location is one of the best in Fort Lauderdale, but the hotel does not have it's act together which is why we went for a privately owned condo. This condo lives up to the advertisement and we will stay there again. My recommendation is to only book a private condo and avoid the hotel rooms.
The cleanliness of the condo, the information pack sent by the owner, the fact that there is someone to come right over if needed are all plus features of this particular condo. You have my recommendation and I will be back to this condo again. Do not let the reputation of the hotel keep you away from the private condo part of Ocean Manor. The location, Tiki Bar, swimming pool and Beach are above average. And this privately owned condo is certainly above average.
